October 1: Seal Beach’s 16th Annual 2011 Wag ‘N Walk
LOCATION: Eisenhower Park (adjacent to the Seal Beach Pier). TIME: 10:00am-3:00pm
Seal Beach’s 2011 Wag 'n' Walk will begin at Eisenhower Park located at the foot of the Seal Beach Pier, and participants will receive prizes based upon the amount of pledges raised. The pet friendly event also includes entertainment, sponsor booths, opportunity drawings, food, beverages and prize presentations. We hope you will join us for a fun filled day with your four-legged friends at one of Orange County's Best Pet Friendly Events!
Wag ‘n’ Walk benefits The Seal Beach Animal Care Center, a non--profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1986. The Center is supported solely by donations, grants and fundraisers. Proceeds raised from events such as Wag 'n' Walk allow the Center to provide a safe haven for the homeless animals that come through our door until a new forever home can be found.

spcaLA will have some of their rescues looking for a fur-ever home. Maybe that home is yours! Saturday, 10 a.m. 3 p.m. Petco. Long Beach Towne Center, 7631 Carson Blvd. www.spcala.comOctober 30: 2011 Haute Dog Howl'oween Parade & Pet Adoption Fair in Long Beach.
This is the World's largest Halloween pet event! The parade is on 2nd St. Livingston Park vendor & adoption fair starting at 2:30pm: $10 per dog to be in the parade benefits local animals, environmental and youth projects. 600+ costumed dogs in last year's parade!
