Peas and Carrots

Mr. P strikes again!  There is no denying it...Mr. Porcupine and I are simply inseparable.  Wherever I go, he goes.  Since the day mommy brought him home, he has been by my side.  To quote Forrest Gump (with a slight variation), "From that day on, we was always together....Mr. P and I are like peas and carrots."

Me and My Tennis Ball

Woohoo...daddy came home early today and you know what that means?  It's tennis ball time!  I see that bouncy, yellow ball I just go ballistic.  I can chase that ball all day long.  And again....it's MY ball...all MINE!

My Best Friend: Mr. Porcupine

Dear Mr. Porcupine:

I judge all of my toys on a scale of One to You.  I hope you know how special you are to me. The best things in life aren’t “things,” they are friends like you.  I have big friends and small friends.  Old friends and new friends.  Loud friends and quiet friends.  Nice friends and sweet friends.  But you’re the best kind of friend.  You make the good times better and the bad times not so bad and the in-between times more in-betweenish.  Thanks so much for being there for me and for being my best friend.

Love and hugs,

Bailey

P.S.  I am going to let everybody know that after a long day at school, everyone should have a Mr. Porcupine with whom to snuggle and cuddle.  You’re simply the best.

My New Bed

Mommy and daddy said I'm too big for my bed now so they bought me a crib mattress from IKEA.   But mommy didn't buy any bed covers from IKEA.  Instead, she made a cover for me to represent my daddy's homeland of Sweden.  Look at me posing on my new bed!  Yeah, yeah, I know...even though it's long just as long as I am, I still can't manage to stay on my bed completely.  Oh well, it's my bed and I'll do whatever I want.  Night night, world...sweet dreams!  Heja Sverige!  Woof woof!

The Golden Ball

Mommy and daddy were having breakfast this morning and I noticed those white, oval-shaped things on the table.  Then I heard, "crack, crack."  Ooh...it's golden ball time!  Mommy always gives me the golden ball hidden inside those white, oval thingys.  I love them!  Daddy says it's "protein time."  I love breakfast.  Woohoo!  Woof woof!
